All journals that are part of KB's agreements on publishing Open Access can be found via Journal Finder.
The Royal Library's Journal Finder helps you find journals that are covered by Open Access publishing agreements.
Journal Finder allows you to search for journals that are part of the national licensing agreements for Open Access publishing without paying the Article Processing Charge (APC). You will also be able to find journals that offer a discount on the APC. You do not need to create a user profile or log in to use Journal Finder. Simply select your institution to get accurate search results.
In Journal Finder, you can also find important information about the individual agreements, including which Creative Commons licenses can be selected, whether the agreement contains a limited quota of articles, and which article types are included.
Researchers at Roskilde University are entitled to various APC discounts and waivers negotiated with the publishers by the Royal Danish Library's national license consortium.
That means:
· You do not have to pay, or you receive a discount on the Article Processing Charge (APC).
· The article can be published under one of the CC BY licenses.
· The article is immediately available as Open Access in Publishers Version.
· The article can be archived in RUC's Pure without an embargo period.

The Royal Danish Library has a three-year agreement covering 2024-2026 with Association for Computing Machinery. The agreement ensures that RUC-affiliated corresponding authors can publish Open Access in all of ACM's portfolio.
There is no annual limit on the number of articles that can be published each year.

The Royal Danish Library has signed a three-year agreement with Cambridge for the period covering 2023-2025.
The agreement includes the option to publish without APC payment in a number of Cambridge's journals.
NOTE!
There is a cap on the annual number of publications in the Cambridge agreement.
Researchers who wish to publish with Cambridge University Press and who are founded under a grant that requires embargo-free Open Access (e.g. Horizon) should be aware of this, as they risk publishing without OA-secured rights.
When the cap is reached, a 10% discount on APC will be offered by the publisher.

The Royal Danish Library has signed a four-year agreement with Elsevier for the period covering 2025-2028.
The agreement includes the option of publishing without APC payment in a number of Elsevier's journals.
There is no annual limit on the number of articles that can be published in this agreement.

The Royal Danish Library has signed a three-year agreement with IOP in the period covering 2023-2025.
The agreement includes the option to publish without APC payment in almost all IOP Publishing journals, excluding Society Journals.
There is no annual limit on the number of articles that can be published under the agreement.

Authors will receive a 15% APC discount after the cap is reached, if they choose to publish their articles Open Access.

For some publishers, a complete exemption from APC has not been negotiated, but a discount that can be obtained as a researcher employed at RUC.
Currently, agreements have been made with the following publishers in this column.
These titles from ASM are included:
Authors (all employment types) can publish without paying APC, but will still be faced with a page charge.
There is a 25% discount on page charges if you are a corresponding author employed at a subscribing institution and a 63% discount on page charges if you are a corresponding author employed at a subscribing institution AND are also a personal member of ASM.
The Royal Danish Library has made an agreement on a 250$ APC discount publishing with ACS.

An agreement has been made for a 20% APC discount on articles from Bristol University Press and Policy Press.
